Looking to hire freelance artist

Hello readers, Figurakuen is looking to hire a free lance artist to design a logo for the forum, if anyone reading this is either an artist or who knows of an artist, who has sometime to commit to this please email Shiawasekun at shiawasekun@figurakuen.com that you would like to apply for the position (please include your msn address if you have one). But before you decide please read the criteria and a little bit of info on the project that you will be accepting if you so choose to.

This will be a “Paid Commission”

Criteria

1) Artist preferably from Singapore so meet ups are possible.

2) Manga drawing experience is a bonus (Jap/Kor style preferred).

3) Easy to work with.

4) Having a portfolio would be nice.

5) Art subjected to screenings.

6) Freelance Male or Female artist are both welcome.

Project Specs

Phase 01 – Logo
> Circle in shape/border with Japanese/English words (forum name/title)

Phase 02 – Mascot
> Manga style Female character (original)
> Eyes – Red
> Hair – Dark blue OR Purplish white
> Body – Pale tone (pinkish)
> Top Body – Shirt with a tie OR just a tie
> Bottom Body – Skirt
> No clothings. Vitals covered by Logo in Phase 01

Phase 03 – Banner
> A banner which fits the forum in terms of style and content
> Incorporates the finalized mascot/logo

Figure look at: Rozen Maiden Palm Scenery

Due to the insanely slow flow of figures coming in, will probably start talking about animes soon if this keeps up, but for today i’ve decided to start reviewing some of my older figures, and since my last post was on Palm Scenery’s Disgaea ver 2 set, i figure that this would be a nice follow on.

Introducing Palm Scenery’s Rozen Maiden Traumend set.

This set contains less characters but they look so much nice with the back drops behind their individual casings. Quality over quantity.

The first sister Suigintou (水銀燈,/すいぎんとう)

The second sister Kanaria (金糸雀/かなりあ,)

The third sister Suiseiseki (翠星石,/すいせいせき)

The fourth sister Souseiseki (蒼星石/そうせいせき)

The fifth sister Shinku (真紅,/しんく)

The sixth sister Hinaichigo (雛苺/ひないちご)

The fake seventh sister Barasuishou (薔薇水晶,)

And the gay secret character of the set Detective Kunkun (くんくん探偵/くんくんたんてい)

Verdict: Overall a great set really cute and easy on the storage space. Definitely a get if your a big Rozen Maiden fan. My only complain is that the set would have been so much better if the secret character could have been Kirakishou, which is basically Barasuishou only with a very light peach color dress and hair.
