So finally the release of figma’s most anticipated figure since Yuki Nagato has arrived. So how does she live up to the hype ??? In this collectors eyes she is a real gem, as you will get to see later on. Figma has out done themselves with their Saber release. But enough idle chat lets get down to the good stuff, pictures.

First of i have got to thank Figma for their accessory choices that come with Saber both Excalibur along with Avalon and Caliburn = major win in my books.

The details for Caliburn’s sheath is really amazing for such a small figure, the detail is equivalent to Hyper Fate Saber’s Caliburn , only on a smaller scale.

As this is just an intro picture for Saber. You will be able to see some really cool poses further on. Can’t get to the good stuff so soon can we………

And with 2 swords you know what that means 二刀流 (にとうりゅう)nitouriyuu sabers will be popping up everywhere. (nitouriyuu means fighting with a sword in each hand)

There are a total of eight hand pieces if i remember correctly 4 for each side to play around with. Which allows you to do stuff like this.

This is definitely one of my favorite poses in this shoot.

Here we have Saber with both Excalibur and Caliburn.

Excalibur is meant to be more to the side of Saber but she ended up holding it infront of her guess i messed up here.

Feel the wrath of Caliburn.

More 二刀流 goodness here, man i love swords and the more of them the better.

This is just some of the poses you can make with Saber, i won’t take too many as there will be a tab bit too many photos then.

Side view of her charging.

Side view of her leaping swipe.

The crane arm thing that comes with every Figma figure is really a god sent and allows you to deal with all of your balancing issues.

Just a close up for you folks to see how cute Saber is. Well she is gritting her teeth but cute none the less…….

Heres a picture of her trusty arms.

So in the end the question is how does Figma Saber do against Kaiyodo’s Revoltech Saber. Well saddly or happily (depends which camp your on). Figma is leaps and bounds ahead of their competition, in terms of looks, make (ie. joints), balance and accessories. Kaiyodo’s Fraulein’s series is in for some rough competition ahead of them.

Verdict: This is a figure truly worthy of the must own statues, even if your not a FateStay Night (FSN) fan Saber is an auto buy, not only is it well done, it also comes with a very affordable price tag. So what are you waiting for, for go that extra Cospa t-shirt and use to money to go get a Figma Saber. She will definitely not disappoint.

Have a very 萌萌 day people.
